The Reef Villas Uluwatu

Great location, very attentive and helpful staff, overall great value for the price.

The water pressure was quite weak. What can be a bit disturbing is ongoing constructions right across the villa. They start around 8AM in the morning.

Absolutely loved the villa, it's gorgeous, well kept. Clean hygienic with all facilities. The staff are amazing. Extremely kind, friendly and immediately responds to all queries. They took care of everything for us. . There's a small cafe close to the villas which is perfect for a quick breakfast/brunch and they also give bikes on rent. So extremely convenient. Didn't have any noise issue due to the construction work close by. We weren't affected at all. Most days, slept really well..

Not far away from all the shops it’s very spacious and clean. Sony was great help always makes sure you are happy and will help you with any needs to make sure you’re stay is as comfortable as possible.

The villa is in a reasonable location, only a 5 minute drive to great cafes and the main shopping area in Uluwatu. The staff were responsive and helpful with any requests we had, such as getting extra towels and keeping our luggage when we checked out. I appreciate their assistance and can't fault their genuine hospitality. The villa spans three levels but there is no furniture on the rooftop so it is a bit of a redundant space which could add value to the stay. It is nicely decorated and would be great for friends or couples without kids. Has a hot and cold filtered water station which was great.

The villa was not ideal for a family stay, not child safe, which we knew was a risk when we booked. So I can overlook that. However, the cleanliness of the villa was not ideal..There was ?water on the bench top in the kitchen when we arrived, the dish rack was dirty, the utensils in the kitchen had old dried food on them. The gas for the stove was empty, but again we overlooked this as we didn't need to use the kitchen for cooking. The towels provided were stained, and even the replacement towels were stained. Our bed linen was not changed in the 5 days that we stayed. The bathroom smells of sewage and there is no ventilation other than leaving the balcony door open which then meant people could look up into the villa when you were in the bathroom / shower area. In addition to the sewage smell the water pressure is terrible, you turn the taps/shower on and have to wait a minute before the water would run, in the shower this may have even been up to two minutes and having to flick the taps on and off. The pool had a lot of insects in it and area around the pool was unswept and this contaminated the pool when it rained. On one of the days that housekeeping came in, they left the door open so then the villa was filled with mosquitos, also compromises the safety of our belongings.

We loved the private pool, it was such a nice touch. We also loved the great breakfast service delivered to our door at the time we request 🙂 The photos don't do this place justice! And the staff were super friendly and attentive - just overall 10/10

Only slight disappointment was the construction adjacent and the vac truck blocking the entrance
