The Reef Villas Uluwatu

It’s a fantastic property might need a little maintenance to take from great to perfect.

The shower floor was gross could do with a deep clean and the toilet seat was a little loose and the toilet paper holder was loose to the point of falling over.

L’emplacement est au centre des différents lieux à visiter, très facile de se déplacer en Grab. La villa était très grande et spacieuse. Une piscine privée propre et jolie. Le design de la villa est belle. Personnel disponible et répond à vos besoins. La villa est dans une ruelle calme.

Mauvaise isolation avec les villas à proximité mais rien de dérangeant.

The apartment was clean

Construction was noisy, and we weren't advised there was construction prior to booking. Hot water on the filter machine wasn't working, and there was no kettle to boil water to make beverages. No coffee/ tea facilities, no tea towels , no iron. We were out most of the day, and staff wanted to clean after we returned, I appreciate cleaning rooms prior to the next guests' arrival, but maybe concentrate on the guests already there. Other than that, the staff were lovely.

Very clean, spacious and filtered water supplied. The staff were very friendly and always happy to assist.

No TV in the bedroom.

The location was great, close to everything! The layout was good and the main bedroom was spacious. People were really friendly

The towels were quite old for a new villa, sometimes we got all towels and sometimes not. The bathrooms need glass refillable dispensers for washing teeth. We had to always make sure we have bottles to refill. They need a better iron. We requested one which was great but it barely ironed. The hair dryer was also useless. Barely dried your hair.

I really wanted to like this property because the interior design and decor were lovely, but unfortunately, it missed a lot of basic details that made the stay uncomfortable

There was no hot water for the two days I was there, and even after informing the owner right away, the problem was never fixed. The drains were blocked when I arrived, the balcony door handle was broken, and the water pressure was almost non-existent, so it was difficult to shower properly. Instead of moving us to a different villa, they left us in the same one while builders and contractors came in and out trying to fix random issues. It was noisy, disruptive, and far from relaxing — definitely not what I expect on a holiday. I don’t come on vacation to do life admin — that’s something I already deal with at home! The staff were not very helpful, and overall, the stay felt stressful and poorly managed. It’s a shame, because the place has potential with its nice design, but the basics and guest experience really need improvement.
