"I enjoyed the novelty of the place, the quietness of the location and the energy of the staff."

The location, although a challenge sometimes, was very convenient for the main tourist sites.

The breakfast on shared tables felt awkward sometimes as I was travelling on my own. I am unlikely to stay again as I am starting to prefer using a lift.

very close to the historic quarter

We had a sash window that didn’t have a latch on it and the cold air was blowing into the room. The room had a blackout blind but could have benefited from having drapes

"Great location for Lincoln town centre, but overall a disappointing level of comfort"

The location is the key eason for staying here, located close to town and sites and the hotel has a great view of the town, Very nice tea in the room.

Carparking is difficult as it is on a steep hill with only room for two cars side by side. The room was cold, without extra blankets or pillows and the beds were not particularly comfortable. There is no reception or easy availability of staff at night, with only a mobile phone number to contact in emergencies. We therefore felt uncomfortable calling at 11pm for blankets. The breakfast was reasonably nice but felt a little mean given the small portions and additional fee for a cooked breakfast. The decor in the communal areas was quite tired and unfortnately the overall experience did not meet expectation.

Leuke/vriendelijke gastvrouw, heerlijk ontbijt. Erg fijn dat je zelf je ontbijt kan kiezen dmv het invullen van een briefje, waardoor er geen/minder verspilling is. Prima bed en fijne kamer

The venue itself was perfectly placed, just a few minutes from the main sights of Lincoln and very convenient The bedroom itself was gorgeous and compact, but perfect for our needs. Breakfast room as well, was very cute and breakfast came out promptly and with big portions. Service was also great, and able to accommodate leaving our bags behind for the day until we needed to catch our train
