Muni's Terrace Bungalow

Bungalow is very clean and the bed is super comfortable. AC + clean bathroom. The place is new, opened a few months ago. View is stunning, directly in the rice fields. Service was excellent as was the food, tasty and generous meals. The owner and the staff were incredibly kind, went above and beyond to help us and make our stay pleasant. We participated in harvesting the rice, roasting coffee and visited many handcrafts shops in the village. 100% recommend for an authentic experience in Lombok. Thank you!

It's good to know there are many mosques around and it can be noisy. Not a critic, just something to keep in my mind when you come to this area.

The location is absolutely stunning. You are in the middle of rice fields with the views to Rinjani and to beautiful green valley. The guys who care about the place have a lot of information about real village life and are able to prepare for you experience with rice production, making of coconut oil , etc. And they are really brilliant, helpful and enthusiastic. Have to say that all the people around this place were excellent. Rooms are simple but clean, with AC.

We had an amazing stay at Muni’s! The bungalow is situated in the middle of rice terraces and has an amazing view of sunrise and Mt. Rinjani. Muni really made us feel at home. He brought us to a local market to buy coffee beans and arranged for us to roast and grind the beans with a neighbour. It was a great, local experience! We also had dinner each evening at Muni’s and Lam prepared delicious food for us and served it on our terrace. Great breakfast too! If you are looking for an authentic experience in a beautiful setting, we highly recommend Muni’s!

The accommodation is basic but clean and in an amazing setting. Great value for money overall!

Beautiful location away from the bustle of city life, you can see the sunrise in the morning with rice fields in front of you, and Mount Rinjani to the left from the bungalow door. At night, you can watch the starry night sky with the cool weather. The bungalow is surprisingly clean and bug-free (so long as you keep the doors closed) given the location, and it comes with AC, an ensuite bathroom and breakfast. Muni and Ilan(?) are gracious hosts and do their best to help. Truly a great spot for a single or couple exploring the area on a motorcycle.

At the point of time of his review, no heated water, so you have to take a cold shower here. The path to the bungalow is not paved, so only motorcycles can be parked in this accommodation, and it is also unsuitable for walking disabilities. Due to the environment, expect to hear a lot of crowing roosters and Islamic calls to prayer before sunrise. The calls unfortunately tend to sound off-key and dissonant, so it can be very jarring.

It’s such a comfy Stay & we loved being here! The owner is so lovely and helped us with everything and even took us with him on a daytrip with his old classmates! Breakfast is really nice, you can enjoy it with a beautiful view (you can even see Mt Rinjani) Bed is really comfortable as well.

The little bungalow you stay in is in the heart of a local village in Lombok, surrounded by rice fields. Asmuni, the host, was the friendliest and nicest host I’ve ever had. He showed us lots of different Lombok culture and traditions and provided some lovely breakfast for us. He completely made the stay for us and I could not recommend it more
