Family Cabin Near Smoky Mtn Entrance Nantahala

We actually had to vacate another property from Airbnb because of the condition of the first home we stayed in so coming here was a breath of fresh air. It was as clean as could be, smelled of a new home when we walked in, and felt like a cozy home away from home as well. The views were absolutely stunning and the home was just as amazing! Seriously loved this house, it’s like something from a movie! The only reason we chose our first cabin was because of a hot tub, but honestly even without one this cabin is 10/10. The kitchen was breathtaking, the views, the bedrooms, the loft area above the living room where we were all able to sleep together because of the sleeper sofas! Just amazing. We traveled with a group of 5 and we all agreed that this host thought of almost anything you could need to be comfortable on your stay. Will definitely be coming back soon!!

The drive up was uphill gravel, then you turned onto another uphill, but paved driveway. I was worried about bottoming out but my Kia Forte made it without a scrape!

What an amazing experience this was! My family of 4 + dog spent an incredible week in this gem of the house; it was actually bigger than we expected and as beautiful as presented on pictures. By area standards, close to everything (minimum 25 min driving), and I would strongly recommend AWD. Starlink strong enough to work from there. Do use Ingles store preferred card left in a kitchen drawer – you'll save considerably. Kitchen is well equipped and (as a cook) I was impressed. Porch is ideal for night photography!!! Not one single hitch or a complaint – 10 out of 10 from a family that travels a lot. If it was a little closer to Chicago we'd be there every year. Nature is spectacular – do the recommended hikes and trips! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Beautiful place with a pretty view from the balcony as well as inside with those nice windows. Loved the showers! Washer and dryer and most all kitchen basics you need. Plenty of room and felt so spacious with high ceilings. It’s beautifully decorated although not too ornate. Close to town and nature with lots of nearby outdoor activities and explorations such as Nantahala River, Dragons Tail, Ocanluftee Scenic Biway, Elk watching and so much more for outdoor lovers. Owner is very quick to respond and helpful. Felt private although there were some neighbors.

Bring extra keurig coffee pods if you’re a heavy coffee drinker like my husband and I. A local information book would be helpful but with google, really not a big deal. Go to grocery store before get there and try to be there before dark because drive way is a little tricky but really nothing bad. Chi let us know this before we came. She was really great.

Our family loved the home. It was beautifully updated. It gave us the lodge feeling in the mountains.
