The Hollies Guest House

Very comfy. Host made sure I had everything I needed. Tea coffee etc… towels soap plate bowl cutlery. Extra heater. I loved the decor and I was able to watch a movie on the tv. Wanted to stay longer.

The door to the bedroom doesn’t stay closed. However the whole place is secure by the main door, which I only have access to. Felt like my own place because I had my own front door.

Not spotlessly clean bed not very comfortable needs cupboard in the bathroom light shining in the window on the door no curtain on it

There was a microwave and fridge in the room as breakfast was not provided. The location was good. Easy to walk in along the river edge.

There were roadworks all night which were extremely noisy. Not the Host's fault.

The accomodation was very clean, comfortable, regularly replenished and the facilities were very satisfactory. The staff were both helpful and pleasant. There are local shops and amenities. All told, my stay was very satisfactory. I would like to say thank you to the owners.

There was nothing I didn't like

Shirley met us when we arrived and was very helpful and informative.Room was spacious and very clean.
