Puri Asri Bungalow Ubud

Wow, what a little gem. Tucked away in an oasis of green with old bonzi trees adorning every open space. The greenery seems to absorb much of the road noise making it a quiet spot in the middle of the hectic chaos of the Ubud streets. The bathroom was amazing.

Only downsides is it is difficult to find with the location on booking.com incorrect. There is also no Aircon, but at the price that is expected and the fan was more than adequate at the time of my visit. Also there was no water refill,v which would make a difference.

Friendly owner, very tasty breakfast. Stunning balcony!

They did not provide the room I booked and you can read in the comments that they do this constantly. Although I wrote it in advance that I have knee injury so I need the room I booked which was on the ground floor and separate other buildings. Apparently it was sold to another guest for a week. The women and daughter helped and carried my luggages as I had a knee injury during the check out, they were nice but it was supposed to be carried by the man who put me that room. The man was missing unfortunately.

The room they gave me had a nice balcony but it was in poor conditions. No soap or towel is provided. Breakfast was poor as well but I had no expectations afterwards and came later than I order Ants are big problem, they are all over and attacked by flying cockroaches in the middle of a night and could not sleep at all. Although I had intension to extend due to lack of mobility, could not stay any longer.

Overall okey.. Air-conditioning need to pay 100k per 2 nights.. Breakfast is good for that value..

No soundproof.. can hear the noise of other rooms even far from your room..
