Duana Sari Ubud by Mahaputra

One of the most spacious places I have stayed in Ubud (I have been moving places nearly every week but found myself staying here for over 3 weeks now)

Everything was ideal. The staff are extremely friendly and keep your rooms in perfect condition!

Bed, clean and tidy

The bathroom is not clean, and the staff is not there. Breakfast menu repeating

Nice and cute hotel hidden from the main road, so you don't hear much of the traffic. We had a private villa for 4 friends with our own pool. Modern and spacious apartment with views of a small rice field. There was a small area for having breakfast outside which is great. So we enjoyed our stay and I do recommend it.

The kitchen is old and very basic, so I don't imagine cooking there. We use other services: Laundry: which was cheap and quick, but when we got our clothes back they smell great but actually not clean at all! It's not their fault as such and they gave us the money back quickly, but obviously, I don't recommend this service and they should find a better company. We also arranged with them the transport to get to the harbor for the Gili islands, we expected a private car but it was just a long van (very uncomfortable) with more people, so the same thing and price that you would anywhere hire in town. Also, the boat to get to Gili Air was the oldest and most uncomfortable we saw compared with the others. So conclusion, double-check the company they are offering for the other services.

Ambient and service was wonderful

I might have been spoiled with amazing food here in Bali. The breakfast offered was not the best. I would recommend skipping the crossaints.

no parking space

Spacious villa with kitchen, nice pool for hot day. We stayed at room 7, the pool is just right beside our villa which is very convenient. My kids enjoyed the pool so much although it's bit cold in the evening. The light is quite dim at room upstairs. Good to have a filter drinking water that you can refill your water.

You need to carry your luggage and walk up a slope of a small path (about 100m) before you can reach the hotel, car cannot stop right in front of the hotel nor park outside. There are some ants found in the kitchen.

Beautiful place and location. Right in the middle of ubud. Staff was very accomodating and helpful. We went for hike and sunrise at mt batur at 2am and came back tired at 9am to rest. They were doing some renovation work next room but we requested to stop so we could rest. They were accomodating and stopped for awhile to let us sleep. Appreciate tht thank you. Everything else was just pleasant. (If u complain abt ants..well.. we even hv ants at home sometimes..so not a big issue. It's a small matter. Overall it was just wonderful)

Friendly, obliging staff. Good location as easy walk to main street.

Toilet was smelly but didn't mention it to them.
