Red Carpet Inn Quantico

They were willing to give coffee to another hotel that had a maintenance issue. Sahil is great. Everyone who was waiting at the Comfort Inn next door was thankful for Eric fixing it, who works for the hotel, rectifying the issue. I am worried that the employees aren't aware they can think outside the box, esp. on Memorial Day weekend.

I am writing this review so I can prevent anyone else from having the experience I encountered. NEVER book a room at this hotel. Arrived at 1am, stopped because everyone was to exhausted to drive any further. Gentleman at the desk was cordial enough. Given Room 103. The room smelled of mold and smoke making it unbearable to sleep, the ceiling was cracked down the middle and paint was peeling, The walls ,doors were extremely filthy. Caked dirt in the vents, wired smoked detector was disconnected and on the floor. Toilet didn't flush properly, tub showerhead completely rusted and tub was to dirty to use.. walls had huge Patch jobs. Electrical socket plate not connected properly. Filth on the floors had to be months old. I will stop here, much more, front desk could not be found. Tried to stick it out, until I could get some recourse from hotel attendant, lasted a few hours and left. Trying to contact the VA Board of Health. Never under any circumstances stay at this hotel. should be rated a zero and closed for countless violations. Choice Hotels management is no help. Read other reviews.

We stayed in Room 112 with a kitchenette. The bedroom area and bathroom were clean enough, but the kitchen looked like it had never been cleaned. There were dead insects in the sink. We would have left immediately, but it was late and we were so tired from traveling. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The service was very accommodating for our weeks stay. Everyone was friendly and professional they even let us check in early. The location was very convenient to everything I needed and I got a great rate. The rooms were clean and parking was great.

This is a great place to stay if you just need a place to sleep. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. It doesn't have any frills and it could use some updates but is fine. There is a complimentary breakfast.

I was was not thrilled, but it was fine for an over night stay while traveling through town. Hostess promised me a late checkout. I was woken up twice by housekeeping despite late checkout and do not disturb sign. Then, a phone call from office saying they had no record of late checkout. Could use a few minor repairs. Beds were comfortable and no bugs, so it was acceptable for the price.

This motel is average. Dirty room. Great location to Quantico and the Marine Corps Museum. The 'continental' breakfast was just O.K. The sleep quality was way above average and it was quiet at night. I can truly say the Montclair Family Restaurant next door is fabulous. This restaurant and the location are the only reasons we would stay there again. Nothing really good or bad at this hotel experience was okay, Hotel is actually better inside than it looks on the outside. Basically the best priced hotel for the area. Around $70 with tax. All of the hotels in this area are over priced. Pretty nice furnishings clean nice sheets and towels I was a little disappointed that I did not get lotion or conditioner only a bar of soap and shampoo. Would most likely stay in this hotel again it was in area for business. Hallway smells nice but the rooms kinda smelled odd maybe the shut up room smell with a mold smell. I was in room 209 and all was average. Anywhere else a room like this would have been a $40.00 Price plus tax.

We where just on a vacation to Fl for 3 weeks, on our way back we decided to stop here for the night after many hours of driving. It was the only place available. Now I see why. It was awful. I asked for non smoking, yet the room smelled of smoke. We asked for 2 doubles for a king and we where told this is all they had. One queen, if felt like one double bed. As you walked on the floor there where lumps under the carpet like they left something under there before laying the carpet that was dirty. Black long hair on the bathroom floor, hair dryer did not work. Heat would not shut off and was blasting all night long. You could not switch it to ac. We stayed at a total of 6 hotels on our way to and from and this was by far the worst. The breakfast area had only 2 tables. They said they have coffee 24/7, it was in a dirty hallway, on a broken down table. I have reviewed many places. Take my advice and don't stop here. Keep driving. There are some other nice hotels right next to them but nothing was open. Wifi did not work.
