The White Heather Hotel

Host was lovely. We arrived early and was worried as the hotel looked empty and the door was locked. Note on the door to call. Owner came straight away. We were the only guests, would definitely stay here again.

A great guy running the place, but it is quite remote and as such, won't suit everyone. The owner was very adaptable to all arrangements, including the bar facilities and breakfast.

The double bed was not very comfortable, but overall our short stay was good.

We booked the hotel as we were doing a helicopter experience at Kirkbride airfield. Very welcoming owner & staff team! The restaurant service was great & good value

I loved the location next to the Kirkbride airfield and all the paraphernalia of an old wartime RAF base now used by a number of private aviation companies and individuals. The owner, David, could not have been more helpful and obliging. The restaurant is rightly renowned for their food and excellent dessert trolley.

For me it was great, but prospective visitors should carefully check the opening hours as days of operation seem to be variable and turning up without prior notice or checking might result in disappointment.

The welcome and friendly and efficient staff were excellent. I had an evening meal, breakfast (full English) and roast dinner. All of which were excellent. I would unreservedly recommend the White Heather Hotel.

Dave the owner is a lovely friendly hard working person who is dedicated in providing the best service possible..and he succeeds. This hotel is spotless and very comfortable i would reccomend this hotel to all and would definatly stay again.
