The White Heather Hotel

Everything, the location, cleanliness, air base next to it, ample parking,

Wi-Fi was very poor

Everything except it’s only open two days for food and bar. This was due to lack of customers as the hotel is quite tucked away and this caused problems during and after COVID. Really lovely place though 👍🏼

Super friendly host who goes the extra mile to look after his guests. Unique location and ambiance. Surrounded be history that is mostly forgotten.

Only having time to stay one night!

If you are after a quiet night away in a rural location this place is ideal.

The breakfast was very good, plenty to eat. The location was a little ‘in the middle of nowhere’ but in a nice way.

We only stayed one night tbh we think that was enough as we were the only guests in the hotel.

Great location Rooms clean Staff could not have been more helpful. We had an early start so they made a continental breakfast available to us

We stayed here after being forced to book ‘on the fly’ after a nightmare on the roads left us unable to reach our destination on the day of travelling. It was a real stroke of luck on a day which we had had none at all, prior to arriving here. The location was lovely and the building itself was interesting, which I loved. All the big ‘ticks:’ -clean and comfortable bedroom and bathroom - a good-quality shower -a good host -price was a bargain We also had breakfast. A basic breakfast was no extra charge and there were decent options. We had an optional full English which was lovely and also outstanding value

From a personal view, nothing not to like. I suppose it’s a ‘no frills’ type of place, but that suits me and for the price paid, no one should have any complaints. Brilliant!
