Heart of City Centre Luxury Apartment with Secure Underground Parking

It was right in the centre

I didn’t like how check in was 4pm unless you paid £15 for each hour it was early, the damage deposit was £150 which after we left we didn’t receive the whole amount back the owner kept £40, regardless of us leaving the property how it was when we arrived. The hot water in the shower didn’t work, and the pictures make it look way better.

Nice location

Collecting and dropping keys at petrol station 5 minutes away was just an inconvenience. No instructions on how to find the apartment from the underground garage. I think it was also expensive (£140 for 1 night) given the effort required.

Nothing

The apartment location was excellent and it took no more than 10 minutes' walk to the centre of Birmingham City. Gas Street and the canals was just 2 minutes away. A vehicle is not needed to travel around the City Centre, so the included secure underground parking at the apartment was a real bonus.

This apartment cannot be called 'Luxury' by any standards. The property features (as originally listed) were misleading. All the carpets were dirty, the window blinds were broken or missing, no sink plugs in the kitchen or bathroom - and the bath plug mechanism didn't work either. There was no 'Hot Tub' (as originally advertised when booked) nor was there any XBox (as originally advertised when booked). The 2 dining chairs were dangerously wobbly and the lounge area window had no key to open, so there would have been no escape in the event of fire. Equally, there was no fire blanket/extinguisher in the property. There was mould on the bath sealant and around the shower glass mount was filthy. The toilet seat was loose as a fixing was missing. No instructions for the use of the microwave/washer-dryer etc were provided, nor was there any access to a 'hoover' or carpet sweeper/brush if needed. In the kitchenette, there were no side plates or wine glasses and only 1 tea towel (for a 1 week booking?). The refrigerator had been left closed when turned off, so smelled terrible. Secure parking and property location

Very poor written instructions on gaining access to carpark and property building. Inclusion of some photos is required. Apartment door handles are not up to standard. The bathroom door handle comes completely off in your hands. A child would be trapped. This is simply not good enough and should have fixed properly

Everything was perfect. Had all essential items. Owner was lovely!

The TV. That’s about it.

The bathroom was dirty and when 2 gentlemen were sent to clean it I found out they’re not even cleaners - they did not even have the decency clean the bath tub. They arrived at the property with a dirty cloth and 2 half empty bottles of spray.

Dirty property it smelled so bad and there was literally mold in the bathroom and stains everywhere. I did not even stay in there I left I couldn’t sleep one night in there I left after 5 minutes it was so bad
