Very impressed immaculate inside very happy , unfortunately the area let it down for us however we would stay again in the future.

The area.

Value for money. Fully furnished Close to arena and 10 min walk to tram

It was clean inside that’s about it!

When we drove down the street and looked around the area I thought I was in the wrong street. Certainly not a “quiet street view” as described. We asked for an early check in and was told they would contact me if cleaners were finished earlier. Well instead we got a phone call at 15:10 asking when we were checking in as the key wasn’t there. Instead we only got access to the property at 15:45 (45 mins after check in started). In the 15 minutes that we waited for the key our car parked in the “quiet street” got scratched. Noire properties not fazed by this when we told them. Inside the property is clean. The garden that was advertised was a bit of concrete with building rubble and rubbish in it. You couldn’t even open the back door. The kitchen cupboards had black bags of linen in them who knows if that was clean or dirty. In my initial messaged I asked for linen for the sofa bed. It wasn’t there. Finally (although not the fault of the owner) but on a Monday night the neighbours music started at 10pm and went on until 1am just what we needed when we had to get up early to travel. Overall not worth the money and if I’d had another option I would have left and stayed somewhere else.

The property was clean, modern and well appointed. We were a family of 4 so there was plenty of space for us all. It was reasonably easy to get anywhere in Manchester by Uber (10 mins) so that worked well for us. Lovely to have a packet of biscuits, milk and tea for weary travellers too! Thank you.

We really battled locking the door! There appears to be a knack to it but it wasn’t easy. There were a few items that would be useful for travellers (like a sharp knife or bread knife, and a corkscrew) but otherwise it was great! Also the stairs are very steep to get up and down - they were fine for us but for older people that could be a barrier.

There was nothing to like about the property.

The first impressions of the area where the house was located were “what the hell have we booked?”. The area looked dodgy and a strong smell of weed was emanating from a house just along the road. When we entered the property there was a smell of damp which they had tried to mask by numerous plug-ins. My wife has asthma and could feel it on her chest within minutes. The beds were not comfortable and looked like something from a uni dorm. The kitchen cupboards were ok but the floor was cracked and had pieces of tiles missing. There seemed to be a slight film of grease in the property which you could feel on the hand rail up the stairs. This brings me to the steep staircase which was dangerous. Small children would easily fall down this so beware. Finally, the back yard had a pool of rancid water which was coming from a leaking waste pipe above (toilet waste). The pipe had been taped up but was still leaking. We were in the property for one hour, 30 minutes of this was finding and booking a hotel and loading our bags back on to the car. We were not going to stay there overnight. Not sure where all of the positive reviews have come from for this property.

Spacious, newly renovated property. 3 bedrooms with double beds - plenty of storage. Absolutely loved our stay. Host allowed us to check in earlier to drop our luggage and it was extremely kind of them. Definitely will use it again.
