Moonlight beach

The location is fantastic. The rooms offer direct sea views and the resort has its own private beach at Dikwella Beach, complete with free sun loungers. We were here in March and were practically the only people on the beach; every day you can decide whether you want to enjoy an affordable and delicious breakfast. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Baby turtles are released into the sea almost every other day. It’s a 20-minute walk to Hiriketiya, or just under 300 LKR by tuk-tuk.

The room and the bathroom could do with a few more storage options, such as shelves or hooks and the bathroom door was difficult to close

Right on the beach and very close to shops and town. There is a turtle hatchery at this place and they let us release some baby turtles back into the sea which was wonderful.

The facility needs to be better kept and the rooms were a little run down.

De gastvrijheid van de eigenaar en de locatie. Direct aan het strand en de zee. Daarnaast het warme hart dat de eigenaar heeft om de schildpaddenpopulatie in stand te houden.

Juan est super et l’hôtel est super bien placé, un havre de paix situé à 5 minutes en scooter des spots de surf d’Hirriketya ! Je recommande vraiment !!!0

Our room was on the first floor , we had a lovely view of the beach through the trees. There were sun beds readily available . We even managed to get our laundry done at a reasonable price. At this hotel the owner also hatched turtle eggs and released them at 17.30 . It was amazing to see. When we left he offered to give us a lift to our next hotel at a very good rate.

Tout ! Je recommande vraiment, l’emplacement est super face à une plage déserte et seulement à quelques km de herikateya. Le petit déjeuner est super et la vue des chambre donne sur la mer. L’accueil des hôtes et leur disponibilite. En plus de ça, ils sauvent les œufs des tortues pour les libérer ensuite dans la mer, nous avons pu assister à des naissances de tortue c’était incroyable

Unsere Lieblingsunterkunft in Sri Lanka! Direkt an einem ruhigen Strand, wir lagen viel auf den Liegen direkt unter Palmen, es war traumhaft. Das Highlight sind die Eigentümer, sie sind so nett und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten easy einen Roller mieten, haben ein richtig leckeres Frühstück bekommen und waren dabei, als Schildkrötenbabies ins Wasser gelassen wurden. Dolores hilft bei jedem Anliegen und ist dabei super entspannt. Die Zimmer sind groß, die Betten bequem, der Blick aufs Meer atemberaubend.

Es war alles perfekt!

Our room was spotlessly clean. One of the cleanest room during our stay in Sri Lanka. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning was very good and quiet. The hosts were lovely and gave us King Coconut and watermelon juice. We only had breakfast on one day and it was good. Best of all was the amazing location. Steps away from the most beautiful beach. We watched our host release baby turtles while the sun was setting on our first evening which was a lovely sight

We struggled with wifi. It was only effective when we were on our patio. The shower was also quite weak. We found the room we had a bit small but it was as advertised so can’t really complain about that. All that said the location made up for the shortcomings.
