Flat near Peak District

Location near where we needed to be.

Adjoining door to the house? Could hear very clearly upstairs it was a converted cellar should have stated.

Close to where we were visiting. Good shower. Very quiet no traffic noise. Spacious bedroom. Good facilities for short stay. Automatic low lights on corridor were good - especially walking to bathroom at night. Would use again and recommend.

Struggled with WiFi signal on the TV - kept freezing. Shower tray/base was very slippy could do with a mat. A tea towel would be good as we needed to wash cups to re-use. Outside front door steps are very steep narrow tread and it was wet so slippy. Had to be careful carrying bags down to the door no handrail to hold onto. Water was quite noisy (pump)?

Really lovely little place to travel around the Peak District from! All the little bits you need are all readily available in the house!

Its a bit dark but then its in a basement and lighting was adequate.

Location and great hosts

Amazing service. The property was very clean and spacious. The owner left some crossiants and milk in the fridge, too, which was nice. We had a slight issue. However, the owner was very prompt in dealing with this. Also allowed us an early chek in, which was helpful as we travelled from Scotland. Would definitely recommend staying here. There is some great scenery nearby, too. Great value for money. Thank you!

Price, the response time of the owner and the little touches like providing croissants and milk. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great.

Would have liked a tea towel, extra pillows and better wifi (it was incredibly slow). The TV depended on this so programmes kept stopping. A toaster would have been nice.

The Host was kind enough to provide good-quality croissants, biscuits tea and coffee. There was a microwave to heat food and a fridge to keep our food fresh. Although the flat is in the basement with no windows, we didn't feel claustrophobic at tall. The decoration was also lovely and cosy! The host definitely has great taste in decoration.

My only con was the short steps to access the apartment. Although they didn't seem slippery on that rainy day, I wasn't comfortable carrying our stuff inside the flat. Probably I just got scared too easily
