Tout était parfait : accueil (dès notre arrivée sur le quai), repas les meilleurs que nous ayons mangés), literie ferme, emplacement les pieds dans l'eau (surtout à marée haute), équipements (prêt de parapluie, serviettes de plage), excursions (mené par l'hôte, possible de payer en carte bancaire avec commission de 3% même les repas mais nous avons payé en espèces chaque jour), très bon débit d'eau chaude à souhait, douche extérieure privée pour la plage et jet d'eau pour les pieds avant de monter sur la terrasse. Accès direct au restaurant sur réservation pour le soir essentiellement. Beaucoup d'ombre grâce aux arbres. Épicerie à proximité si besoin.

Manque juste des prises vers les lits mais il y a une multiprise fournie. Faire attention à ne pas attirer les fourmis en gardant la nourriture à l'intérieur de la chambre. Manque un peu d'intimité sur la terrasse avec les voisins (pas de séparation).

Wow! A stunning location on the beach in the shade, very peaceful, with beautiful views, and easy walk into the village. This is a true family run guesthouse. We were met at the jetty and our luggage transported for us. Our host Cindy was so welcoming and helpful with local info, as well as arranging a boat trip. We were pleasantly surprised to find a really lovely home-cooked breakfast was provided each day. Lots of variety - our kids loved it! Lunch and dinner is also available and it's honestly the best food in Kampung Genting. We loved our stay!

Nothing. The only thing I would mention for other visitors in case it's a concern for you is that there are quite a few ants around. It didn't bother us, and I suspect would be the same at any guesthouse on the island when you're in amongst the beach and the jungle!

It’s definitely the best hotel in Genting, Tioman. Personalised service, very friendly, helpful and respectful staff. Comfortable room with AC and hot water. Beds are very comfortable, room service in request. Direct access to the beach — in fact it’s just a few meters away from the water. The best restaurant belonging to the hotel with home food at very affordable prices— make sure you order in advance, as there is a limited capacity and lots of other guests want to eat here. Highly recommend if you choose to stay in Genting Tioman and you like swimming and snorkeling — the coral reef is right in front. If that’s not enough, the staff can help you arrange snorkeling trips at competitive prices (I recommend you to experience other parts of Tioman and neighbouring islands to compare). We were lucky to see sharks, sting rays and dolphins, apart from thousands of fishes.

Genting village in Tioman is more for adventure tourists and those who enjoy immersing into the local culture and do not just want to be shielded from the world by the resort boundaries. Yes, there is some noise from passing motorbikes and morning ferries, there are cheeky monkeys everywhere (if you do a jungle walk take a long stick). There is only one basic shop (another one was closed all the time) and a handful of eateries serving local food in the area. We enjoyed our stay, however I understand it’s not for everyone, especially if you have limited travel experience in Asia. I also recommend foreign tourists to take Cataferry and not Bluewater ferry to Tioman , as it’s a much more pleasant experience and you don’t need to fight for your seat

Spending 3 days & 2 nights seems not enough to satisfy the cravings for the beach vibe, however as a 1st time tioman island goer, it is definitely a great start and the best experience for the kids, especially the snorkeling trip arranged by the very helpful owner, mr.syukri. As the island has so many eatery spots, we choose almost all of our meals from Mama's restaurant just next door to the chalet. The room is spacious and comfortable, no tv (you don't need it anyway), the beach is just a few steps away from your door, and don't worry about your luggage as they will help you carry them with adventurous transport and if you're lucky you might get to ride with it to the chalet. Overall, it was a very calm and nice experience, the type that makes an introvert traveler want to return and stay longer next time..

The chalet is located right by the beach, and the beach itself was absolutely stunning — crystal clear water and gently sloping during low tide, making it very kids friendly. You can even snorkel and spot fishes close to the shore. The entire place was clean, cozy, and well maintained. Shukri was also very helpful in arranging a snorkeling trip and a visit to the turtle sanctuary for us. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come again.

Bardzo przyjemna lokalizacja obiektu, otwierasz drzwi tarasowe i już jesteś pod palmami na pięknej (bezludnej) plaży. Okolica jak z pocztówki (woda kryształ, biały piasek, pusta plaża, wzgórza i dżungla w tle). Coś pięknego. Personel bardzo miły i uczynny, jedzenie bdb. Standard pokoju, jak dla mnie, wystarczający. Woda, klima, ręczniki i czysta pościel jest, więc jest dobrze :). Typowo malajski klimat wioski zrobił na nas duże wrażenie. W bliskiej okolicy lokalne sklepiki i knajpki. Jeżeli nie bawi cię atmosfera zatłoczonych resortów, to miejsce jest dla ciebie.

Thank you for everything!! We had such a great experience with your home away - family- team and we could relax on the balcony with the beautiful seaview so much! We hope, we will meet again!
