White Shell Beach House

If Heaven is a place on Earth, it lies at Thottada beach and you can stay in the White Shell Beach House ! We ( travelling around in South India for already 5 weeks) totally enjoyed our days and enights here: From the early morning hot ginger drink( Hot water in a thermos jug esp. For me 🙏) to the delicious indian breakfast After the early morning swim, over the peacefull Rests in the well thought room ( the patent of the „curtain „ was invented by a Genius👍) to the seafood/chicken Dinner and the good sleep only „disturbed“ by the rolling of the Waves…. Thanks so much to Prince the thoughtfull and caring owner and espescially to Ninthi ( spelling?) the young and lovely good Soul of the place! We really would like to come back one day! That we couldn‘t stay longer….

The location was superb with a large airy room having a great balcony much larger than normal.The sea views were great, the food was all cooked by the owner and was tasty and plentiful. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. The Sandy beach was almost deserted ideal for morning and evening walks.

The hotel is in an amazing location beside a beautiful beach. The staff are lovely and the service was excellent. The breakfast was massive and very filling. Dinner was lovely. The room was very clean and comfortable. I had a very enjoyable stay.

Stayed 5 nights The location so close to a beautiful uncrowded beach. The view from the upstairs rooms are great We enjoyed catching the sunset from our balcony while having dinner served. The building is very quiet and calm and you hear the waves all day and night. The large bed is super comfortable and the air-conditioning was great. Hot water was also appreciated The food served here is really good and varied. You choose from a menu for dinner and the included breakfast is set and very filling. Prince and his staff are very friendly and accomodating. Prince was organised and helpful throughout our stay. He organised a pick-up and drop off to Kannur airport. Plus he organised a very good driver/guide for 4 days/ nights that took us to the Theyyam festivals which I thoroughly recommend. Jithink was the guides name All in all a very memorable stay.

It was a pleasant stay. The rooms were very clean.

The location.

there was no hot water to shower, not because it was all gone , nothing came out of the hot tap !! , also the manager switched the aircon on then took the controller away ? it later switched off leaving the room very uncomfortable .

The house is nicely located on beach front .

The room we stayed in was really nice - better than the pictures and with a comfy bed and good AC. Prince and Nidi are great hosts and the food is very nice! Right near one of the most beautiful beaches we've stayed on. Don't expect it to be fancy but it's a great value homestay with good natures hosts.
