Travelling for work and got a last minute booking and was treated to a room upgrade. The hosts were lovely, couldn't do enough for me, they got the balance right of being there, friendly and chatty, but also leaving me alone to enjoy my breakfast. The room was beautiful and my vegetarian breakfast the next day was delicious - set me up perfect for the day ahead. The best thing is the bed, so comfortable and the duvet ... well, its the best I've ever slept in ... so much so I need to buy one for my own bed, it was like sleeping in a giant hug.

How anybody could give this venue anything other than a perfect score I'll never know. Absolutely wonderful host, I arrived at 8pm and he greeted me at the door and showed me to my room. I wasn't told what time breakfast was served I was asked when I'd like it and I needed to be out quite early so said not to worry but Dean insisted it wasn't a bother and would be up and making it at any time. The room is beautiful, immaculately clean, lovely and comfortable and so peaceful, honestly I genuinely couldn't find fault. Breakfast was sublime, tried haggis for the first time and if it as good as Dean's I'll definitely have it again. Brilliant stay. Here for business this trip but will definitely return with the Mrs
