Breakfast options are poor for vegetarians. Also had a scare with a scorpion spotted in the room. Quick action from staff sorted it out.

The vicinity of this location to incredible views, hikes, and climbs can’t be beaten! One of the most amazing sunsets you’ll find in Oman. Regarding rooms, the bed was actually quite comfortable. I expected something like a rock but it was very comfortable. I stayed in a cabana which have less than ideal showers (I’m 183cm and I think the shower was about chest height) that flood the bathroom. But the room had everything and more than you’d expect. Being winter, the heater was wonderful and the cute little patio was wonderful to sit at.

the meals fed us but were nothing you’d write home about and so given the price, it seems a BIT high for what you’re getting (but then again, your options are quite limited in this area).

Location. Friendly staff. Small play area for kids and access to pool table. Restaurant.

Could have been a double story for a better view of the mountains from the room.
