The ambience and the architecture was good

You could’ve had a balcony too for the better part.

The location is pretty good! Shares a wall with Glenarys, and right next to Kenventers. But that is all the good.

We paid around $100 per night (Rs.9000 approx per night). Surprisingly, I checked that the same day rates were $20-$30 per night! Pre-booking was a bad idea I guess. Booking.com should address this overpricing issue. What a difference in pricing! But they were nothing like the price they charged us. You would atleast expect clean linens, and sanitized bathrooms. The bathrooms flooded every time we took a shower. The water was either steaming hot or cold. The bathroom sink leaked and there was water every time we washed our hands. To top it off, the rooms were not well ventilated. We kept the window ajar at night but there was no circulation, a small fan would have solved this problem. The walls had molds! Only wonderfully behaved staff does not address these problems. They need to fix the property, a bare minimum approach will only go so far.

The property is so so . Food was only good .

Not at all clean. Everyday they just rearranged the stuff in room while cleaning, in 3 nights they didn’t change bed sheets, towels and even bathroom door mat. I booked this property from booking.com and it was confirmed with pay at property where I had to put my credit card number while booking so that they can charge from the same during my check in. But they repeatedly sent me messages in 1-1 WhatsApp for 10K advance payment and also threatened that if I don’t pay they may cancel my booking. As a priority customer of booking.com I could able to talk to booking.com person, he as well asked me not to pay anything as it is already confirmed and pay at property. They sent mail as well but Summit hotel didn’t bother to listen the same and asked money what I paid finally as I wanted to avoid any mess during year end. Overall comment is I will never stay again in any of Summit hotels.
