CHIAVE DI VOLTA Lovely Guesthouse with Terrace

Stayed here for four nights after flying straight from NZ. Perfect location metres from water front and square. We stayed in the room with the terrace with a view which was a great place to hang out. Shower is cramped. Kitchen a great place to prepare meals to save some money. Varenna and surrounds are sensational!

The location of the hotel was very central.

The host has prepared a video. However, the entrance to the hotel's street is not very clear. The bathroom had no door. This is not good.

Bathroom had mould around the bath & on bathroom tiles. Heater didn’t turn on! Needs a fan in bathroom.

We arrived in the evening and the porch where you enter the key code is very dark we struggled even with a torch to enter the code

Property location is good, easily accessible to ferry and train. Clean place, good kitchen.

It was difficult to find out the place. Especially someone coming in the late evening. As there is no one to ask. For me the checkin information was received late and my net connection was low when i arrived. so couldn’t see the video information provided. A suggestion is to read the entire instructions and watch video before arrival so can be prepared to find out the place easily.

Good location and host / owner communicated well to keep us informed. Location was great and very central.

Our baggage was heavy so steps to and from location made it a little difficult to access
