Cosy Sky View Apartment

We did not stay at this accommodation at all. We were forced to leave because when we arrived, all the blinds in both rooms, which have floor to ceiling glass and face other apartments, were broken. The blind in the bedroom fell down, and the blinds in the lounge were stuck in the positions shown. After about an hour someone arrived who tried to fix them, and after an another hour he gave up. He then told us to wait in the apartment in the morning and someone would be sent to fix them. We could see they were not going to be fixable so quickly, but we also had urgent appointments at the hospital the following day and could not wait around, as we were only booked for the 2 nights. When we asked for a refund, the owner was only prepared to refund half the price, which was unacceptable as the apartment was unusable in the current state through no fault of our own. She then became verbally abusive to my sick wife and put the phone down on us. It was now evening, and we were forced to find an hotel for alternative accommodation. My wife left her pillow in the apartment so the next afternoon we accompanied the security to the apartment. There were now no blinds on the windows which proves that the apartment was unusable for the 2 nights we were meant to stay. We have scammed out of our money, with no recourse. I myself was a host on booking.com and have used them for years, but no more. It was the attitude of the host that was the most ghastly part of the experience. If you want a pleasant stay, don't go near this place.

The host took time to respond to my request . I arrived on Friday afternoon and when I got there the blinds were not working and the TV connections were not working, had to use the ladder to fix the bedroom blind. I called the number given and no one answered, I sent numerous messages and even called the previous owner/caretaker as this was the only number shown on the welcome book. Only the next say Kylie decided to send me her number I could contact her on. So via the Bookings app and whatsapp I sent messages of my concerns. An hour late she decided to respond via whatsapp that was 11h41 that someone will call me about the TV. Only around 14h00 the TV was fixed, meaning I had to wait for the guy to sort out the TV for 3hrs and could not move out of the flat. Media bot remote and the aircon remotes were not working I had to buy my own batteries.

Aircon, oven, TV don't work. Thick layers of dust on ceiling fans and stovetop extractor fan. Front door is misaligned so the keypad to enter is very problematic. Remote access to allocated parking doesn't work. Window in the kitchen can't open. No extraction in the bathroom esp since bathroom windows don't open. It's really disappointing that the host doesn't call to enquire when problems were reported. Thankfully the dust on the ceiling fan over the bed was cleaned up when reported and the person came over to check the TV but it did not work during our 5days there.

TV didnot work.. Maintenence had to come through to connect Own Netflix details needed to connect The aircon in the kitchen only.. Does not flow through the whole place. The bedroom was very hot. Fan was available which was old and very dusty. The check out time is early.. 9am and was told the cost of an additional hour is 250.. Most places have a check out of 10am or later Shower in the bath tub.
