Ceylon Ayu Resort Kandy

Very nice hotel which even had an elevator and beautiful restaurant with a pool view. People working there are super nice (especially the receptionist) and helpful with arranging tuktuks and even a great car driver to a tea plantation and train station for us to reach Ella. Traditional Sri Lankan dinner was very good and served beautifully. Finally the 20minute free massage was perfect for our stiff necks from travelling. :)

Only maybe that the tuktuk driver wanted to drive us to different tourist traps. We caved and went only to the "free" herbal garden for 15 minutes, although we got great information about their natural medicine they insisted that we buy quite expensive bottles of different oils.

The hotel is close to the centre of Kandy and is a calm, relaxing place to stay with views over trees to the hills from the pool area on the top floor. During our five nights there we enjoyed some fabulous meals at the hotel and were delighted by the friendly and helpful staff.

Everything was positive.

Le personnel a été hyper accueillant bien que nous soyons arrivés tardivement. Nous ne sommes restés qu une nuit, efficace, pas trop loin du centre tout en étant au calme, chambres très spacieuses, communicantes (2 chambres)

De kamer was heel ruim en fijn bed, ook heel fijn zwembad!

Het personeel was vreselijk het was een oude man die totaal niet vriendelijk was en echt op je lip zat. Hier eten is ook alles behalve gezellig. De boiler in de badkamer lekte op de wc.. wij zaten hier 1 nacht dus was nog te doen . Ook in het zwembad als vrouw is niet heel comfortabel omdat ze erg naar je kijken..
