Comfortable and cozy. Extremely quiet at night. Owner so friendly and helpful.

Nice big room with plenty of space and refreshments. Owner met us on arrival and was really friendly, she gave good advice on things to do and ways to save money

Bed was not as comfortable as it could've been, mattress could do with replacing

Super Anbindung an den Bus, der direkt gegenüber der Unterkunft hält. Super netter Empfang. Toller Parkplatz. Wasser, Kekse, Tee und Kaffee standen bei Ankunft zur Verfügung.

This accomodation hade great reviews on Booking.com hence why we booked. When a place gets all good reveews but with the odd bad one i always think, this peopel who leave the bad reviews are fussy hard to please difficult customers, however, im afraid i must leve a short negative one. Now, i could write hndreds of words but in short, the whole place smelt musty as did the bedding and inside the wardrobe smelt of pee. Sorry!

The accommodation was exceptional. Quirky, beautiful and very comfortable.

I would have liked to have been able to eat breakfast at the property.

We recently spent two nights at the Forester and Flower as a base from which to explore Bath - and we're so glad we did! Upon arrival, the lovely owner (I believe her name was Louise?) greeted us with an extremely warm welcome (even though we arrived later in the day), and provided us with loads of helpful information about what to do and where to go within the one full day we had to spend in Bath. Within minutes, she had our whole visit completely sorted, and I'm happy to say that all her advice was used to the fullest, which included which bus route to take down the hill into the city centre (literally minutes from the hotel into town), where to eat breakfast close to the hotel (The Hub), and where we could enjoy a lovely dinner just a few blocks down the street from the hotel (King William Pub & Place). As for the hotel itself, it was absolutely charming - decorated in a beautifully whimsical style (LOVED the owner's style and decor throughout!) with a very comfy bed and other amenities (free parking, iron, hairdryer, etc.) that we found useful. We booked knowing that our room ("Lily") didn't have an adjoining bathroom, so we were prepared for that - but "Lily" still had its own private bathroom just steps away from the room, which didn't present any issues at all. In fact, it made the visit just that much more charming! To me, this is what travel is all about - finding those little out-of-the-way places to stay, instead of staying in soulless chain hotels. At the end of a busy day in Bath, it was like coming home to our own quiet little village (and we walked down to the King William again for a lovely tipple for a perfect end to the day!). Louise was simply the icing on the cake - she so clearly enjoys playing hostess to out-of-town guests, and goes out of her way to make them feel welcome. This was a truly special place to stay!

We loved EVERYTHING about our stay here - but should mention that if you have accessibility needs, our room was on the 2nd floor, which (I believe) was accessible only by stairs. Not an issue for us, but thought it should be mentioned.

So cute! We loved the room, so much attention to detail and even though it was really hot outside the rooms were cool. The bathroom is spacious with nice amenities. It is close to a cheap neighborhood cafe with breakfast and lunch option, has a parking lot and is directly next to a bus station
