Tsubes Petrified Forest Tented Camp

Very friendly and chatty staff. My kid really enjoyed interacting with them. We were allowed to use their kitchen and cook our own food. Beautiful view in very quiet area.

We didn't get much sleep because of loud crickets, but nothing much you can do about that, part of camping really.

Wir selber haben Probleme mit Booking. Com . Die haben Geld für die Unterkunft abgezogen, obwohl die Unterkunft so keine Zahlung entgegen nehmen kann. Wir mussten vor Ort noch einmal bezahlen und sind noch gespannt wie Booking reagiert. Kein gutes Verhalten, dies hat jedoch nichts .mit der Unterkunft oder den Gastgebern zu tun. M

Die Zelte waren toll und die ganze Anlage super ruhig und abgelegen. Wer Großstadtfeeling sucht ist hier falsch. Wer die Ruhe, Natur und nette Menschen sucht ist absolut richtig. Ein kleiner aber feiner Pool rundet die Sache perfekt ab. Die Inhaber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man hat uns die Wünsche erfüllt noch bevor wir sie richtig ausgesprochen hatten. Es gab ein tolles Essen und für die Kinder wurde auch wunderbar gesorgt. Wir empfehlen es absolut weiter.

All was good

Our welcome was very friendly. We stayed in the tented accommodation. The tent was good, clean, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was separate from the tent. The bathroom was clean, and it was a good hot shower. Although we hadn't booked an evening meal, we were asked if we would like one, and we said yes. It was very good. We had hit a rock on our way to Twyfelfontein, and it had made a bulge in the front tyre. They changed it for us and put on our spare. The area is quiet with spectacular views. Talking to Johan and Sarel the new owners, they have had to update many things over the last few weeks and still have plans to do more. We would stay again if we were in the area. Thanks to everyone at Hais Ra for making our stay enjoyable.

Beautiful views from the tent and the restaurant area. It is great to shower outside. The petrified forest run by the Blaukranz community is a must. The new owner Johan and his friend Sarel just took over so a lot will change even for the better. Nothing is too much for them. The staff is also super friendly and helpful.

There is no fan for summer time. There is not a lot to put your luggage on. But I am sure the new owner will change that.
