Lilac Villa Guest House

I got a very friendly welcome with coffee and cake on arrival. There was a huge choice of food for breakfast with non- dairy milk provided for me. It's well located on a bus route near the town and has a garden if you just want to relax.

Everything was great.

A lovely couple running it and so helpful and friendly. Loved having a garden to sit in and room was lovely . A little suggestion is to put fans in the rooms .

The B&B is run by a lovely couple, nothing was too much trouble for them. It was very clean and quiet.

The room was small and the location was not great but we managed. It was also quite expensive, hotel prices for a B&B.

Warm welcome. Comfortable room. Tasty, plentiful breakfast-very well cooked and presented. Friendly hosts. Great location for town-both for walking and public transport with a bus stop outside the property.

Mary and Stephen were very attentive and welcoming meeting our every need. We stayed in lovely garden room and the room was a very clean room.

I was met by such friendly hosts and given a cup of tea and a piece of cake. Mary and Stephen couldn't have done more throughout my stay. Fresh milk provided in my room for tea/coffee. No limit on tea bags provided - this service in the room was excellent, so often you don't get fresh milk. Breakfast was much more than I expected - superb quality and great choice. Pity I didn't stay longer to sample all the choices.

The only thing that bothered me at all, was a lack of something to hold while in the shower. This was only a small problem, because I have bad balance - most people wouldn't have a problem.

The B&Bis well laid out and in a good location. Mary and Stephen are wonderful hosts who can’t do enough for their guests. The breakfasts they provide are amazing.

Breakfast was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Mary and Steve were excellent hosts.
