Wonderful welcome at Lilac House by our hosts who brought us a lovely pot of tea and biscuits in the patio soon after we arrived! Very nicely decorated bedrooms and very clean. Though on main road, bedrooms are at the back so not noisy at all and parking outside the house was a big plus!

Slightly off centre of town but we enjoyed the walking as the weather was great!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lilac Villa ! This gorgeous house is in an ideal location about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and town centre. There is a bus stop right outside the house with buses going to the beach/ town/ harbour & surrounding towns & villages. Mary and Stephen are a delightful couple! They are extremely welcoming and caring hosts who both really go the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable and at home . Nothing was too much trouble for them ! They showed us to our room and helped us with our luggage upon arrival. Then brought hot drinks and home made cake to our room to welcome us. We had delicious made to order cooked breakfasts, cereals, fruit pastries, yoghurts every day. They even offered to make us different vegetarian food for breakfast! I was touched by Mary & Stephen caring and considerate attitude towards my elderly , less mobile father- offering him a supportive arm into the dining room and pureeing his food for him as he has difficulty chewing & swallowing solid food. Our bedroom and bathroom were light and airy and spotlessly clean. There was a kettle, tea, coffee, cocoa, biscuits & colour TV in the room. Delicious fresh cold milk was provided in flasks daily instead of processed milk in teeny sachets. Freshly filtered water was also provided daily in a large glass bottle. All of these would be replenished during the day if left the empties in a basket outside the room. We had lovely comfortable beds , soft fluffy towels and a spacious walk in shower with plenty of hot water. We stayed in a pretty garden room with patio doors opening onto a beautiful lawned garden with tables and chairs & parasols where we could enjoy the sunshine with a lovely cup of tea. Mary and Stephen gave us plenty of tips about places worth visiting , eateries, routes & where to park etc. They really made our holiday a wonderfully special and stress free experience.

Mary and Stephen were absolutely amazing hosts and were so helpful and cooked an amazing breakfast I highly recommend this place to stay in Weymouth 👌🏻
