The owner, Norman, is absolutely amazing. He is so welcoming, kind and such an interesting person. He makes you feel right at home and makes sure you have everything you need. He organized a couple of get together with friends from all over the world, it was so special to share those moments, and to be able to meet such kind and interesting people. The place is beautifully decorated, and the light that comes in the morning just makes everything more beautiful. The room is confortable and nicely decorated. I had to work from there, they were kind enough to put in a chair and arrange any other needs I had. Hot water is a plus! I realized what a plus that is in the Filipines once I had already changed hotels.

If I had to comment on just a couple of details; they had just painted my room and it took forever to dry because of the humidity. I unfortunately stained 3 peices of clothing, but they were kind enough to remove the stains :) Wifi in the room for working was not the best, specially for videoconferences id you have to work in the evening. Last is that it is a bit secluded from the town and the last part of the road is a bit tricky and muddy, but it should be fine if you have a motorbike

It’s a beautiful passion project that blends nature with art through its open, airy structure. The location is perfect for me as it is perched on a hill with a fresh breeze, it feels secluded from the hustle and bustle of the town center, yet it’s only a 5–7 minute drive away. I’ve always preferred peace over noise and chaos, and this was a truly meaningful stay at The Living Room. The staff was taking care of us guests and what else could I ask for.

It was so good that after that, any accommodation in Philippines just wouldn’t feel the same
