The Living Room Siargao

Its a beautifully designed place! The owner (Norman) is super welcoming and i felt right at home when i arrived. Everything was perfect.

I loved finding the only accommodation on my trip that combined art with nature, with a very friendly and close treatment. The hosts make you feel at home. The connection with the other guests was very good and it's a place I would return to for being so unique and special. Beautiful decor and very comfortable rooms. Thanks to the whole team for such a special night.

I booked twice at The Living Room during my stay on Siargao. This is because I enjoyed my first stay so much! It's a beautiful location, easy to reach by scooter, but also on foot from the main street in General Luna. It's the perfect place to completely unwind. Ezra is a very pleasant host who is always there for you, thinks along with you, and is willing to arrange a lot for you. Norman, the owner, is a charismatic and sociable man who regularly organizes get-togethers for his guests and friends. A very nice way to get to know each other. I definitely recommend this accommodation!

Excellent location, decor was great and we loved all the nature, (fireflies and frogs)! If you are looking for a place in general luna that is close to the main strip but far away enough to get a peaceful night sleep, you will love the living room! Ezra was very accommodating and very helpful. She helped with booking all our excursions and gave us a really great list of the best places to eat on the island.

Thoughtfully curated with interesting art and books. Communal area very nice and homey. Rooms are comfortable. Staff are extremely helpful and attentive. It is like a small oasis staying here.

Unfortunately the room I stayed in had a strong moisture/mould odour. This is a common problem in the Philippines so probably not within the control of the hotel. The hotel is also located off the highway and inaccessible by car due to the poor access road condition.

The hostel isn't just a place to stay; it was an inviting home for all its guests, a space designed to foster connection and create a community. The owner, Norman, designed the place like an open living room- bringing guests together and creating an atmosphere that made you feel like home. Since he is a well-traveled local who had worked all around the world, he had numerous fascinating stories to share with us. We even had the privilege of having dinner with him one evening, where we engaged in thought-provoking conversations about politics, social issues, and life. We found ourselves chatting with him for hours, and it was one of the highlights of our time on the island. Our private room had an aircon and a private shower. They arranged airport transfers for us and had a lot of excellent recommendation for surf instructors, food, etc. Norman and Ezra, you have made our stay in Siargao unforgettable and we already miss you 🥲
