Benidaruma - Yatsuhashi

Very warm and cozy little inn with a perfect location in the North of Kyoto . The hosts are very warm , helpful, smiling and professional . A very delicious sushi restaurant nearby is highly recommended!!

I could experience a traditional-style Japanese inn with tatami floor and futon in Benidaruma. The owner is very kind, he helped me always if I had a problem or question. A bus stop is almost in front of the entrance, and Kokusaikaikan station of Karasuma Line is not far either, so most of the main tourist attractions of Kyoto can be reached with max. 1 change. The price included a delicious breakfast too.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at benidaruma! Our stay here was one of the best parts of our trip and we still talk about how amazing the owners were. The first night we were lost and couldn't find the hotel, we messaged the owners on booking.com and they quickly responded, when we arrived they were about to go out looking for us!!! The owners were incredibly nice, genuinely caring, and accommodating. Although it seems a little far from some of the popular spots there is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel which was REALLY convenient, every night we'd be dropped off right at our hotel. The bathroom was gorgeous!! we enjoyed our shower/bath every night. Also the kitchen is fully stocked, we could cook breakfast and there were lots of snacks/food which was a cool way to get familiar with new food in Japan! Plenty of great things to say about our stay, if we visit again we will definitely be staying here!

Everyone makes you feel welcome and as though you're part of their family. The room was comfortable, and although the location is a little outside of the main downtown area it's conveniently located next to a train stop.
