"The perfect getaway!"

"Hidden Gem"

We had the upside down cottage with bedroom, separate dressing room and bathroom on the lower level, living, dining and kitchen upstairs. The cottage was lovely and warm for us when we arrived, as well as a warm welcome from Jules with lots of info and recommendations on what to do around the area. The cottage is beautifully equipped with everything you would need and the extra provisions of bread, eggs, milk and butter were greatly appreciated.

"Just what the Doctor ordered"

The Upside Down House we stayed in was beyond my expectations. It was emaculately clean. Tastefully decorated to suite the property. Peacefully situated but not too far away in a drive from things you might need. I normally struggle with beds and being comfortable (princess and the pea kind of situation) but the bed and it's pillows were very comfortable... And the hosts were lovely and helpful. There isn't much more you could ask for in a getaway in the Peaks.

Honestly, the place was perfect, I have no dislikes at all.

"Peaceful retreat"

Beautifully decorated and equipped with high quality fixtures, fittings and equipment. Very spacious apartment for 2 of us with a sweet little outdoor seating area. Includes parking, log burner (we didn't use as not a cold weekend) WiFi, streaming and even bath robes. Jules was a lovely host providing some lovely little extras, and generously flexible on checkout time, as no booking immediately after ours. Quiet and peaceful location for a restful weekend. We were too tired to walk to a pub, the day we arrived, but a local curry restaurant delivered, which was great for a chilled out evening.

Bit too far to walk to a pub, but we knew this when we booked! Some kitchen roll and or napkins would be useful.
