The One Resort Zanzibar

Family Vacation to this place was lit! We enjoyed the food buffet, night activities/dance was fun. We also loved the morning water aerobics. Zanzibar Hakuna Matata!

Staff- The staff were friendly and excellent. They could not do enough for us. Excellent bar service as well as service at both breakfast and dinner. Bar staff around the pool enjoyed talking to the visitors. Reception team knew us by name which felt very friendly. Facilities - The pool was incredible. Super clean and beautiful to swim in. Enormous and at different depths throughout. Comfortable sunbeds around the pool. Rooms - The rooms were lovely and spacious. They had plenty of storage and a beautiful view over the pool and sea. Food- Plenty of food at breakfast and dinner which was regularly replenished and therefore kept fresh. Breakfast had a choice of fruit, cereal, eggs/ omlete, pancakes as well as a range of other hot food. Dinner included a range of food as well as soup, salad and a live cooking station each night. We had a fabulous stay - a couple of hiccups which were dealt with very well by the staff team and always dealt with with a smile on their face. Transfer - The hotel transfer was a very reasonable price and cheaper than the airport by $15. A minor suggestion - The hotel to pay for Spotify premium around the pool and at breakfast so you van skip the adverts.

The Hotel was safe and well secured. Rooms are spacious and clean. front office staff are well trained and helpful, check in and check out takes minutes. All Staff were very friendly and welling to do almost everything to make our stay comfy and relaxing. Food was very good with a wide Varity of options, different dishes every day from all over the world; thanks for Kasper, Amour, Barak, Kassim, Chris and all others. Housekeeping was excellent especially Salma. Entertainment was exceptional thanks for Dullah. Also special thanks to the Massi.

Tap water tastes odd and WiFi was very bad.

The wifi connection is poor and their food.was not well prepared at times. The managers are distant and not hands on.

It all was excelent. I will refer my work coloques to go. I will also come back next year.

The bar in the pool was the best. Food was more than I expected.

The place looks amazing, even better than the pictures! All the staff, from the cleaners to the towel guys, bartenders, waiters and front desk, are amazing! Such a good service, always smiling always willing to help. Staying in The One Resort was a real delight. We only had 2 nights there due to a tight schedule but would have been more than happy to stay longer.

The only thing that we have to say is the dinner buffet could use a bit more selection/some dishes that appeal to all kinds of guests. Despite that, the breakfast was very nice and the soups at dinner were amazing.

Fabulous location with a great pool, but easy to dip your toes in the turquoise ocean. The staff were all super happy, very helpful and happy to help with anything. Food was also excellent.

One early evening the water ran out while in the shower! I presumed I had used it at the same time as many others returned from dry, dusty trips for the day.
