The One Resort Zanzibar

Rooms and facilities are very nice. Although it smelled all the time weird at the Toilettroom. Massages very good.

There is loud music everywhere all the time (seems to be a thing in Zanzibar) Very loud music at the pool, at breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant. Difficult to understand each other during conversations. In the evening mostly entertainment program. Food Buffet average, a la carte food is much better. Service was average. Communication was very difficult. Unfortunately we were often not understood, some of the staff didn't speak English well, didn't or didn't want to understand us. Except for 1-2 waiters and the lady at reception, who did their job very well. In addition, the manager/owners must have invited their friends. They always had party at the pool from noon, accompanied by 2 drones over the pool, not very relaxing moments. Unfortunately, there were no yoga classes as promoted on the website, which was a shame because that was one of the reasons for booking this hotel.

The location, the sea view and activities planned in the evening. The pool, liked the half board

The spa was too expensive and the restaurant didn’t have proper meat like steak, and the salty water in the showers and the cleaning of drainage. The blankets were a bit smelly

We really enjoyed our time at the One resort. The staff is great, always helpful and friendly. The food was great, the pool and pool bar is also amazing. Highly recommend the resort if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.

Customer service was excellent!,The rooms, location is beautiful.The different night entertainment on offer every day was great. If you are looking for quiet relaxation and child friendly place-this is the place to be. The pictures were a true reflection of the property.

The mattress was a bit too soft for my liking. I would recommend an orthopaedic bed.The chips were too dry.

Loved the ambience of the entire resort. The staff were great; helpful and kind. The food was amazing, lots of cuisines to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the fresh hibiscus juice that was often served for breakfast and dinner. Speaking about rooms, I loved that my room was on the ground floor, as it allowed me to walk out and go for a swim without any hassle. I also appreciated the modern decor of the room, and that of the overall hotel.
