Deluxe Quentin Apartment next to the Synagogue

The apartment was nice and clean, with enough space for all of us. Toilet were clean and comfortable.

Some details were old and not perfectly working, still not much of a problem.

The location is great, close to the river, Christmas markets, restaurants, and the Synagogue. The apartment is big enough for 4-6 people.

1) There is a step left off the access instructions so it was difficult to access the locked up key. 2) We arrived an hour later than check-in time and the cleaning person had barely started to clean it from the last renters and it was a mess. Even when we returned several hours later, there were crumbs under and behind the couches. 3) It was freezing outside and we had little heat in the apartment. Only one radiator worked at the front entrance which is offset from the rest of the apartment so it was very cold. The other radiators did not work. 4) We asked for blankets because we were so cold and there were none. 5) We could not access English on the TVs so the TVs were useless to us. 6) The main queen sized bed frame was bent so the bed slats fell down rendering that bed useless. We had to move the top mattress to the floor to use. 7) The apartment is scuffed up on the walls and has not been repainted. 8) The drapes were falling down. 9) The lamp shade on the only lamp in the small bedroom was broken and had fallen down on the lamp. 10) There was a bum asleep near the entrance to the building the first night of our stay. 11) The owner’s representative responded to our calls and came over at 10:30 pm on the first night of our stay to see if they could remedy some of the issues. They could not get the heat turned on and offered to bring space heaters the second day but we declined because we could not be there when they planned to come to the apartment. 12) The language was an issue. We speak English and the owner’s rep spoke very broken English but they were very nice. 13). The owner’s rep mentioned a 30% discount on our stay, then the owner would only agree to 25%. We only received a 21% discount credited to us. 14) We are disappointed that this property was not vetted by Booking.com, was misrepresented to us, and that we did not get the promised full 25% credit.

Excellent location

Unpleasant smell in utility room. One bad was not in optimal condition.

Everything was really good, clean and tidy. The location was stunning. 100% would recommend to everyone.
