"Perfect B&B close to the centre of Pickering."

Really convenient for the centre of Pickering, walking distance. Lovely and friendly staff. Excellent bedrooms with great facilities, immaculate furniture and fittings that are spotless. Breakfast is amazing.

There’s very little not to like at the Manse.

"A good pick for Pickering"

Great location with a short walk into town & onsite car parking. Valerie was very friendly & welcoming. A good choice of breakfast options, beautifully cooked & presented. Lovely Edwardian house & our room was very clean & comfortable with a generous hospitality tray.

Only issue was ongoing overnight noise from the floor above. Presumably an insomniac guest who had TV or radio on pretty much all night & plumbing noises so did not get a restful sleep!

"Don't scroll past - this one is superb - so glad I found it."

What a lovely surprise. I was greeted with a warm welcome by the owner, Valerie. My room was very comfortable, with crisp white bed sheets on the most comfortable bed ever. It made such a difference to getting a good night's sleep. The ensuite was very modern and all exceptionally clean with tea/coffee facilities too. You can choose from a long list for breakfast and it was very tasty and hot. I particularly enjoyed my window seat looking out into the garden. Large car park to the rear. Nothing was too much trouble for Valerie and the young waitress. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it.

Not so much didn't like but it wasn't lit well on the front to find as I got there in the dark but plenty of lights to go to the car park.

"A good overnight stay at a pleasant property with good service."

Friendly welcoming owner. The room and bathroom was very clean and well presented. Safe place to park the car. The breakfast was very good and the service was pleasant.

The room has no opening windows. whilst this was not an issue at this time of year the room could become stuffy in the summer.
