Iris The Business Hotel

Due to a last minute schedule change, I booked this place by only checking a few reviews. However, my decision was correct! I had a very pleasant stay with my young son. The staff were all nice, the place was spacious and clean, and although located in a very lively and convenient area, once inside, it was very quiet and we were able to rest in peace during the night.

The hair dryer was was only active for about a minute and then had to wait for a while to cool down to be able to use it again.

Location

Schwimbad Steam bad sind nur das Name. Steambad Zimmer, Garderobe sind nicht brauchbar. Schwimbad nur Tauben schwimmen und Tauben Netz rund um rund.

Room was spacious.

Breakfast had many options but nothing was a wow.

My guests were happy that the rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was great, of course.

What I was very disappointed by was the lack of initial communication. I booked two nights at this hotel for my guests from Germany specifically because of the great location and for the swimming pool. However, there was no communication whatsoever that the pool as well as the gym was closed due to maintenance/cleaning during the duration of their stay. It was only after my guests raised a complaint did the manager make these things accessible. Unfortunately, it was too late by then as it was done on the morning of their check out. While I appreciate that the hotel tried to rectify the issue, the lack of communication regarding the inaccessibility of the facilities left me with a sour taste and also made me look bad in front of my guests. I strongly suggest the management take instances like this very seriously so it doesn't happen to other guests in future.
