Very comfortable for 2 and excellent for our spaniel. Great to have a riverside walk on the doorstep - he loved it!

Very lovely place me and my cocker spaniel loved it very chilled area. Has a lovely small garden area for caramel to run around in. Treats where provided for me and my dog. Lots of lovely walks even when it rains. I will 100% stay again. Had a couple of questions which Jo and Kenny answered and were very helpful. They were Happy to accommodate where possible. Easy use of oven. Easy use of heating instructions on how to turn off and on when needed was provided. Shower and bath also provided very helpful for when caramel went on some muddy walks! Thank you for making me and my furr baby feel so welcome.😊❤️

Had no issues some would say being by a main road is bad but I had no problem . I was contacted before to make me aware of the busy road. I slept absolutely fine on all 3 nights I stayed. My dog can be very reactive and nervous at times however again he had no issues with being by the main road

The property was smaller than expected but looked cosy and had all the facilities you might need. The hosts were in touch as soon as we arrived and offered any assistance.

Unfortunately the longer we spent there (we stayed around 4 hours) the colder we got and the more it felt damp. We were very uncomfortable therefore ended up leaving and carrying on with our journey home, a waste of hard earned money which we thought would allow a night away in comfort to break up our journey. Very sad 😔 The hosts apologised and wished us a safe journey home. Left us feeling dissatisfied and disappointed.

Everything; it was nothing short of perfect! From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how impeccably clean and tidy everything was—spotless and welcoming. Not only is there the private property, but you also have a private garden and parking. The facilities were absolutely amazing and thoughtfully provided. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need—appliances, pots, pans, cutlery and even the little extras that made cooking a breeze. It truly felt like a home away from home. The bathroom even had luxurious toiletries and everything was meticulously in order. The television in the living room had Sky, including the movie package! The attention to detail and care taken to ensure a comfortable stay was evident throughout the property. If you’re looking for a cozy, clean, and well-equipped place to relax, I can’t recommend this cottage highly enough! The proximity to the A38 is very deceiving because this property is very well soundproofed - you cannot hear a thing! Honestly the best stay I have ever had on here; thank you so much to the hosts for having us and maintaining such a beautiful property.

It was very easy to get in. We were very grateful to have some milk after a long drive for tea. The owners were very accommodating about our request with the dog and it was easy to find somewhere to walk her. I also found the bed very comfortable!

For me personally I struggled with the shower, I'm not a bath person and for me (an average size female) the shower was just too small. We were surprised about the £20 dog cleaning fee as it wasn't clear on the site and so we had genuinely no idea until we were informed after booking. You needed to have thoroughly looked through the FAQ to find that information. We were a bit unhappy with this but the accommodation was already booked.

The is a truly amazing little property and a great find. The pictures do not do this property justice. The downstairs open plan kitchen/ diner/ lounge space is larger than expected and is more than big enough for a solo stay or for a couple. There is ample plates, bowls and kitchen equipment to be able to rustle up food without the need to bring anything with you. The small little things make the difference and there is clearly alot of thought gone into the whole property. The bathroom and bedroom are of very good size with enough storage to be able to settle in like being at home. With Cheddar being only 10 - 15 mins away and Axbridge only 5 minutes this place is located in a great location. There is a pub 2 minutes walk away with 2 more further up the road. The road this place is situated on can be quite busy during the day, but at night is calm and didn't affect our sleep at all. The outside space has seating and tables which we unfortunately could not utilise due to the weather. The communication from Jo and Kenny has been amazing right from the start and throughout our stay. We can't wait to book again
