Communication with host was very good. Easy access to the property with clear instructions and guidance for easy parking (even with an additional vehicle). Very homely and clean cottage. Had everything we needed.

Loved where it was situated, just the right size for a couple. Compact, clean and comfortable old property with history.

Nothing

Apart from the A road location, the property itself was excellent, with a little courtyard out the back and was comfortable and clean with great facilities. The washing machine was a godsend when travelling for so long. Good location and fine if you plan to be out and about in a car for most of the time or are a heavy sleeper (to be fair, I am a pretty light sleeper these days).

Take note that this is situated on a major A road - to be fair the listing did say that the road could get busy. I just did not realise just how noisy the road could be. Glad I had ear plugs but a few of the passing trucks even shook the building! There is not really anything the owners can do about this. It is a shame that major roads are built right up to old villages and buildings in the UK but I suppose there is not a lot of choice sometimes.

Very pretty and decor well above expectations. We were made to feel like special guests. Lovely courtyard garden to sit in especially if the sun shines.

Charming cottage, very well fitted out, & great location for sightseeing around Somerset. Although located roadside, traffic noise was not a problem at night.

Lovely cottage with cosy atmosphere. Nice, big bathroom. Good size kitchen with oportunity to cook. Lots of TV channels to choose from. Very informative and helpful host, we had lots of tips for local sights and nice places to eat.

Close to main road, so quite a lot of traffic noise. This was highlighted in the description beforehand, so we were prepared for it.

Lovey and clean, nice decor, great outside space and comfy bed. Even had Sky and Netflix, bonus!

Really nice small cottage with good fixtures and fittings

Very small back garden no view. No hair dryer. Led to believe it was in a small village but it was on the busy A38 and unfortunately there was temporary traffic lights outside the cottage as there was major work being done a few yards from the front door .
