Well equipped and cosy

Located on a very busy road, traffic noisy throughout the night

The owner had decorated the place very nicely and we found it very cosy. We enjoyed the facilities available like the coffee machine. It was convenient to have things like bubble bath available. The pillows were super comfy. The location was appropriate for us for cheddar and Wookey.

The road is loud. The TV wasn’t compatible with our fire stick but we had sky available which was fine.

The property was well presented and equipped, comfortable and had a useful enclosed outdoor space for our little dog. Good for a night stopover after a day of traveling and just a short walk from some beautiful countryside. The owners left some milk and gave clear advice on some local amenities which was appreciated.

As others have mentioned- it is literally right on the A38 - and think we underestimated,not being local, how busy the road would be, particularly quite late into the evening. In fairness the owners are clear about this and it has not been an issue for some reviews but for us it was too intrusive.

So clean fresh and tidy! Hosts went above and beyond to make the place so homely and welcoming! Had an amazing night sleep and really enjoyed some quality time with my partner!!

The place itself is very nice and with good facilities, host is next door and when we were looking for the key box (which is around the corner) she came out and helped us. Lots of leaflets and info about the area.

It's located right on the road so we kept the main curtain shut and used lights also during the day, plus you hear traffic noise, especially heavy vehicles and especially in the morning

spacious comfy accomodation and most home comforts had been thought of and it was nice to find a bottle of milk in the fridge.

As we are used to a Kingsize, the Double bed was a tad small and the first night was very cold, but in the morning we found that the window had been left open! Unfortunately, when we tried to turn up the heating, the control had been locked!
