The place looks like a work in progress, most of the things are broken. The mirror in our room was broken, the bathroom door does not close unless bolted from the inside. The shower curtain and net curtains need mending. I opened the bedside drawers to put something in but they are full of black things which might be insect ‘poops’ or something. Our room did not have any mosquito nets. We arrived in tge guest house and they asked several times if I have a booking. They made a mistake so they give my room to someone else. Nit happy about that! However, the manager apologised and said he will give me a discount and will upgrade our room for the second night. We did not bother moving from the room! What was the point!!

First rate welcome, ambiance - a real home from home - you can feel the positive vibe from every staff member. And really really good food - loved the butter fish cooked over the charcoal

There's nothing I would say I didn't like. Sure the place is a project, a work in progress - but for me that adds to the fun, debating options with Bruce and hearing a travelling conservationist give his opinion on a future plan.

The service was good, Laureen is kind-hearted.

The mattress in the deluxe room is hard and not very comfy.

Laurine, the girl at the reception, was really careful and always made herself available. Food was good and big.Room with AC is a plus.

Delay in servicing food which was understandable because we only saw on chef.
