We were pleasantly surprised to discover the apartment has three balconies. Excellent showers, very clean bathrooms, fully operational dishwasher and washing machine, and a drying rack. Small appliances all worked too. Plenty of dishware, pots and pans, ample towels. The lift is tiny but handy, we only used it for luggage. Conveniently located with grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Good views from the balconies. Plenty of room for five people. We requested two sets of keys and received the second set within minutes. It's a clean and safe neighbourhood, only one block off Liberdade Avenue. Easy walking in the area, gradual inclines but no steep hills. There's a subway stop nearby.

The big issue was the lack of lights in the building stairwell. We had to use flashlights at any time of day as there's no windows above the stairs and it was pitch dark. We reported it on the first day but the lights weren't fixed until a week later, and we still had to go down the dark stairs to reach the light switch for the floor below. The stairs are narrow and spiral around the elevator shaft, so watch your step. There weren't enough blankets or comforters in the twin bedroom. The wifi router is kept in a metal cabinet, so it didn't extend much past the living room even with the cabinet door open. Poor reception in the bedrooms. Inconveniences: instructions for the induction stovetop would be handy. There was no plug for the kitchen sink so we had to use a bowl to wash smaller quantities of dishes. We purchased our own laundry detergent, stain remover and dishwashing tablets as there were none supplied. There was a bit of smell in one bathroom but we kept the door shut and it wasn't a problem.

Localização incrível, apartamento amplo muito confortável para 6 pessoas, bem decorado e com todas as condições descritas. Até nos deixaram um miminho de boas vindas, muita atenção ao detalhe !

Talvez pelo prédio ser antigo uma das casas de banho cheirava a canos. Mas tirando isso estava tudo 5 estrelas.

No breakfast. Location very good. Apartment had no lights and no TV
