"Relaxing night away from the commotion with onsen and traditional Japanese breakfast."

The rooms were great, beds were comfortable, space was huge and the Onsen was relaxing. We loved the traditional Japanese breakfast in the morning.

We would skip the dinner if we were to do it again. We thought it was going to be a relaxing night in the hotel, but they had to drive us elsewhere. The views were generally of a graveyard, but it was still a nice feel.

Location in the historic part of Kyoto, a very spacious room with a private onsen, helpful staff, and complimentary snacks and drinks offered.

The traditional Japanese breakfast may be challenging for European tourists. It would be nice to have a daily choice between Japanese and continental breakfast options.

I'd score it 10+ if possible. We had an exceptionally comfortable stay, service was excellent, breakfast- delicious! Location perfect. An oasis of calm refinement. Would definitely return again.
