Vista Mare casa vacanze

Excellent roomy 2 bedroom apartment! Nicely decorated. Great shower & hot water. Big towels & great bedding comforters! Amazing sunset views over city & Tyrrhenian sea. Really excellent location for train access. Only 2 stops to Pompeii & easy access thru bldgs back gate. Elevator was good to 7th floor. Great bakery (loved the biscotti), coffee shop & pizza near by.

Beds were a bit hard for me (fine for my husband). A little front street & back train noise but did not bother us! Not a close grocery. The area is more under developed, not touristy, which was fine for us. (Also we were visiting more in off season.)

The location of the flat (apartment) was very good as there is a train station just behind the building which a key for the back gate is provided by the host for easy access. There are shops, pizza shops and supermarkets nearby. The flat is modern, nicely decorated and furnished with new and modern furniture, very spacious, very clean and has everything we needed during our stay. The host was excellent, friendly, very attentive and communicated promptly and effectively. Flora (The Host) provided us with all the information we needed about the flat and our stay ahead of our travel, and she even organised and helped with airport transfers and tours around the region with a very good taxi driver who has (a People Carrier) and with reasonable prices.

The only downside particularly for us, was although the building has a lift, but as my son uses a wheelchair we had to use some steps to get to the lift and to the rear of the building to get to the station. The only other issue we had was we needed some special socket adaptors which is a bit different from the usual EU power sockets but a nearby shop had the adaptors at very reasonable prices.

The view was out of this world!

Nice apartment and very good service.

Only one bedroom and the living room have air conditioning, the other bedroom got quite warm.
