Our stay here was amazing! The view from our balcony was just perfect, we had the Rosengarten (Sassopiatto & Sassolungo) view. The service was also great, the Chalet’ staff were so friendly and food were also great. Nothing to complain about!

Amazing location

Chalet Rescciesa is probably the best place to stay if you want to make Ortesei your base to explore the Dolomities. Michael and his family are fabulous, caring and warm hosts that make your stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. Hands down, the property offers The Best views of Val Gardena Dolomites. If you stay in the Mountain View room, it will be one of the best views you’ll experience in a lifetime. Another must do recommendation is to eat at their restaurant which is so delicious and authentic. Will blindly recommend this place to anybody who wants to have once in a lifetime experience in the Dolomites. The rooms are wooden, clean with modern amenities and very costly and warm. Perfect rustic vibes at the top.

Amazing views. Nice and very attentive owner, decent breakfast

Poor value. Was charged 50% as my son joined as well. For over €600 night for a basic 3 star, there is much better value in the village. As you enjoy the views the entire day during hiking, you wont miss much and do not have to take the funicular up before 5/6pm with no other dining options
