garden area has 2 trees and both had wasp nests, couldn't sit and enjoy the space.Needs a place to store your luggage, would suggest the large shelf above the bed that is used for books and games would be ideal!

GBLovely peaceful location with great view. Welcome basket of eggs from their free range hens. Superb shower and interesting compost loo ensuite. Unusual to have an ensuite in a shepherd's hut but really welcome. Comfortable bed. Friendly hosts. Easy parking. I would happily stay here again!
I was very happy with this stay. The only thing that could have improved it would be a small additional fold up chair and possibly table that you could sit on and at when the bed is in position. This would save having to fold the bed away during the daytime if you didn't want to.
GBEverything! So well designed and built. Sooo Comfortable and very cosy. Close enough for a short walk to the lovely village of Chagford. Everything you could need and in a lovely position. The chickens were lovely neighbours. <3

GBGreat location if you are looking to do some hikes in the area. The cabin has all you would need/have in a typical hotel room (including Wifi) with a bonus of nature view.
If we were to be super picky then I would say mattress is getting to the end of it's life as it has worn in the middle (very soft patch). Moreover, knifes could be sharper. But being really picky here....
GBOur second visit to this charming sheperds hut, very clean and comfortable. Lovely and quiet, with a beautiful outlook. Stargazing in the dark skies of Dartmoor, outside the hut and through the sky light over the bed. Fabulous 😊 Lovely touch with our bottle of Prosecco as we were there for NewYears Eve. We will be back ( maybe it won’t rain the next time we come!🤣)
