The compost toilet
GBGBThe shepherds hut was cleverly designed and nicely finished. Inside was cosy and very clean, and bed was comfortable The outside area lovely, with chicken run next to the hut. Nice touches with fresh eggs, butter and milk, bottled water, condiments and plenty of tea and coffee.
Nothing really. However the info folder said charcoal was available, we wanted it to cook on the fire pit. Looked everywhere and phoned both owners, and left a message but no reply.??
GBBeautifully crafted unique shepherds hut, nicely situated and thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials and lovely extras. The setting was wonderful and so peaceful.
We didn’t particularly like the compost toilet but it didn’t smell and was part of the ‘rustic’ experience. The rest of the bathroom facilités were great!

GBWhat a wonderful stay! Beautiful shepherds hut in beautiful surroundings. Clean cosy and impressive carpentry inside. Gave us a magical way to undertake two walks on the Two moors way. PERFECT!
