White Hill Lodge Hakuba

Good location in Echoland area.

Everything starting from check in was not well organized or done well. The lodge is old and jothing works like supposed to, theres little to now sound insulation between rooms. No staff on site and theyre not very helpfullif you do find them. I recommend to stay away, unless youre a single guy and okay with slumming it while boarding or skiing.

Great location close to Echoland shops and not too far to catch the shuttle to the ski resorts

Very little staff contact so hard to ask questions or ask for assistance with booking taxis etc. The accommodation also didn't offer free transport services like many in Hakuba do which can be difficult as there is no public transport at night and limited taxi/Uber availability. The private bathroom was very small with the shower over the sink and toilet so was difficult to use as your feet were wet every time you used the toilet, and you were unable to keep towels or toilet paper in the bathroom as it would get wet. There was also no room to get changed in the private bathroom. Also the bathroom door was able to be seen through so if staying with friends it is not very private. The drying rooms for ski equipment were quite small for the number of people staying and smelt.

Great location only about 150m walk from the main strip in Echoland. Staff were really helpful especially Pablo driving the shuttle around and Katherine for anything else we needed. Good value for money. Very hot shower in communal bathroom.

No sink in the communal kitchen area. Not a big deal but would have to rinse our things in the bathroom sink downstairs.

Toilet blocked for 2 days and generally sewer smell around the bathroom.
