Gili Rose Private Villa

Good location. Nice setting. Very friendly and helpful staff. Plunge pool refreshing. Comfortable bedding.

Constant gas smell around kitchen area - cupboards with crockery, utensils not very clean. We ended up eating out for breakfast.

Nicely decorated and large rooms. Comfortable bed with good quality bedding. Nice to have separate kitchen area and private pool. AC was very good. TV had Netflix. Located in a quieter area of the island but a short bike ride to bars, restaurants and the beach. Good, responsive communication with owner.

Check in process wasn’t the best. We arrived on time and the rooms were not ready so we had to wait 30 minutes to check in. (Normally wouldn’t be an issue however we were soaking wet from the rain so needed to change clothes etc) Shower pressure and temperature wasn’t the best - would get boiling hot for 30 seconds then return to being luke warm. Room was only cleaned twice with a 7 day stay. Would have been nice to have sun loungers by the pool instead of deck chairs. The pool also needed cleaning by staff more often. Located right next to a small house with farm animals so we were woken up by cockerel and goats every morning.

Comfortable rooms, big bathroom, lots of privacy!

For breakfast we got some toast, milk, juice and eggs in the fridge, yet the gas cooker didn’t work. So we couldn’t actually make the breakfast and had to eat outside…

Staff are really nice and friendly. Rooms are massive with a fridge in each room and very good aircon. The pool is nice and refreshing, hammocks etc are comfy. Good location near to the beach and nice restaurants

The sliding doors are quote hard to operate. The rooms can be noisy when the roosters start up.

Everything was perfect, the location, the cleanliness, the staff was always checking to make sure we were okay and answer all our demands.

Staff were incredible, always willing to help, gave recommendations, booked tours at very good prices. Spacious rooms, comfy beds, nice tv's, good bathrooms, outside kitchen area with utilities, free drinking water provided, nice swimming pool. Excellent location being slightly north east, away from the partying but not too far to walk to, close to the beach. We would all stay again, thank you :)

The floors and bins needed a bit of a better clean but everything else was very clean :)

The villa is in a great location, 5 min walk from Turtle point, 10 min walk from the harbour. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. they helped to organise our transfer to Gili T, helped with luggage, laundry and would help to organise trips if we wanted to. The villa has 2.large bedrooms with en suites and lots of storage. The aircons are very powerful and get the room cool very quickly. The outdoor space is great with plenty of seating. The pool is quite compact but it was fine for my 2 kids. There is an outdoor kitchen witj basic facilities and we were povided with drinking water as well as some tea and coffee Outside of the villa is a lovely warung and we had breakfast and snacks from them - all very tasty and served with a big smile. Overall, I would be very happy to return with my family

The toilet in one of the bedrooms needed screwing down as it was wobbly and one of the sliding doors was coming out of tracks which could be a risk to children. I mentioned this to management on our second day but it was still not fixed when we left after 5 nights. This meant I had to keep the on sliding door bolted and the kids used our toilet. I also mentioned to the management that a drying rack for wet towels, swimming costumes would be useful. Also.worth mentioning that the neighbours have animals and the roosters can be quite noisy in the morning

We spent a great week in the villa! we felt very looked after! We received a lot of help, everything we wanted Toby arranged for us. The villa is wonderful and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay!
