Meadow Rise Guest House

First impressions of the beautiful Guesthouse was the amazing locality. The views from our deluxe bedroom was heavenly to look out from. The bed and linen were really comfortable.. The room was spacious and the details in the room were a lovely touch too. Hot towel rail and crisp white towels supplied. Because I have a problem. With mobility I noted even the smaller items like non slip shower mat and bath mat in the ensuite. The bedroom had a dressing table with mirror which had tea/ coffee / kettle with chocolate biscuits. Next there was a small yet comfortable swivel chair that was a lovely addition to the bedroom. A great walk in wardrobe in the bedroom too. There was nothing to fault. The location of the property was literally a 5 minute walk to the scenic village so a fantastic bonus to just be able to park your car and leave for the whole duration of your stay. Wendy and Clive were so pleasant and friendly hosts, so attentive and Informative to our needs. A really lovely couple. The Breakfast in the morning was ample, cereals, fruit, yoghurts, toast, jam, marmalade and pastries. Also extra was a full English, cooked perfectly 10/10... Very happy, tasted delicious which was all locally sourced. Plenty of places to eat, so possibly booking in advance of your stay might be advisable as it is a tourist attraction and quite busy, with some places queues outside. Lots of places to visit again within walking distance of the village. Birdland was very popular, the motor museum and the model village, reasonably priced too. Also the Dragonfly maze which unfortunately I didn't manage to visit but will next time and there will be a next time... And no doubt.. I will go back to Meadow Rise Guesthouse. Het guest house lag prachtig aan de rand van het dorp. Parkeren voor de deur. Onze kamer was groot en schoon. En we hadden een geweldig uitzicht aan de voorkant. De hosts ontvingen ons hartelijk (en hielpen met inparkeren). Het ontbijt was goed. Er was toast met boter en jam, of full English. Je kon ook iets anders bestellen, bijvoorbeeld alleen scrambled eggs. Prima.

Niks. Alles was uitstelend.
