Lovely rooms, great staff and very close to everything

Close to town. Basic but comfortable. Good price. Separate storage for bikes. Great for us doing the rail trail.

On a busy ish road but not a lot of noise.

I was desperate after finding out I had driven 3 hours in the wrong direction.And this was the only available room on booking dot com.

This place should never call itself motel/ hotel I read the reviews, but it was not clean.It had no accommodation for my medical device to be plugged in.So the host brought an extension cord. The host asked if I wanted heat and then proceeded to plug it in with the extension cord. So the situation was very unsafe on close inspection Realized that I was cold because the bathroom window high up had been left open. I read the reviews and people said maybe it was rustic and my opinion it was slapdash and definitely not worth the cost. I haven't seen the charge on my credit card, but she had me at a NZ$144, which I think is only slightly less than the wonderful room I had in Hamilton, through bookings.com.I definitely will follow up with more complaints.
